Robin received an email about an April tour inside the garden gates of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst, and off we went. As we visited gardens, village churches, cozy pubs and tile hung cottages, we saw the precedents for things we know and love in Maine and New England. The cool, wet weather and the greening landscape made us feel right at home.
