This beautiful property located on Webb Lake in Weld, Maine, offers incredible panoramic views of Tumbledown Mountain range and Mount Blue. The area serves as a popular destination for avid Maine hikers. Initially our design efforts focused on renovating the family’s old farmhouse and moving it to a better location on the site, farther from the road and away from heavy winds at its elevated location. Upon further investigation of the existing structure and the cost associated with making it more energy efficient, the decision was made to design and build a new home that would use materials salvaged from the original farmhouse.
