Today is Associate Principal Jessie Carroll's last day with Whitten Architects. We've been honored to have Jessie as part of our team for the last eight years, where she has grown from a designer to a licensed architect and then to Associate Principal, serving as the first woman to ever hold the role at Whitten Architects.
In her time with us, she's been part of the award-winning team on projects like Damariscotta River Cottage, which just last month earned an AIA Maine Honor Award for Renovation and Adaptive Reuse. Last year, New England Home magazine chose her as a "5 Under 40" emerging talent. Over the years, many of the projects have graced the pages, and covers, of national and regional publications.
The foundation of our studio approach was built on the belief that continual collaboration fuels creativity. The collaborative spirit at Whitten is what drives us, and makes us who we are. Everyone on our team learns and grows together through every home we design. We will miss learning and working alongside Jessie, but we're grateful for the time we've had together and look forward to staying in touch and following her career.
