We firmly believe that the most successful architecture comes from a thorough understanding of each individual client's needs, interests, and property. As such we design homes that are a reflection of the humans and sites they were designed for.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and foster working relationships with clients
- Partner with internal team members in an iterative design process
- Coordinate with external consultants including structural engineer, landscape architect, and interior designers
- Lead or assist in the assembly of design presentations and Architectural Documents
- Participate in sourcing and specification of materials and systems
- Support our Construction Administration to ensure implementation of design intent
- Project participation from concept to completion
- On-site job visits with active collaboration between contractors, landscape architects, and interior designers
Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task and a desire to positively contribute to design
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong graphic communication capabilities - hand drawing is celebrated
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (or similar), Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Positive and productive collaboration both in the office and on the job site
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently and within a group
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
- Pursuing continued education and working towards full licensure
- Knowledge/experience with construction is a plus
